Environmental Initiatives

QTS is committed to minimising our environmental impact through strategic actions:

• Carbon Emission Reduction: Partnering with ProEnviro, we closely monitor and reduce our carbon output. Since 2021, we’ve achieved a 36.63% reduction in total carbon emissions.
• Renewable Energy Utilisation: Our facilities are equipped with solar panels to generate electricity, reducing our reliance on the grid and lowering our carbon footprint.
• Resource Management: We’re improving our energy efficiency by installing advanced monitoring and targeting non-productive energy use, aligning our practices with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for responsible consumption.

Social Sustainability Efforts

At QTS, social responsibility is integral to our sustainability strategy. We are committed to upholding and advancing social sustainability through several key initiatives:

• Fair and Equal Pay: We ensure that all staff receive remuneration that exceeds the National Minimum Wage, fostering fairness and equality within our workforce.
• Workplace Well-being: We prioritise the health and safety of our employees through comprehensive training and a work environment that adheres to the highest safety standards.
• Community Engagement: Actively engaging with local communities, we participate in initiatives supporting local development and well-being, enhancing the social fabric of our areas.

Future Sustainability Goals

QTS is dedicated to advancing our sustainability journey with clear future goals:

• Net-Zero Emissions by 2045: In accordance with the Paris Climate Agreement, we aim to reduce Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 100% by 2040 and Scope 3 emissions by 90% by 2045.
• Energy Efficiency: We plan to install an Automated Monitoring and Targeting (aM&T) system to enhance energy management, ensure efficient resource use, and minimise waste.
• Enhancing Community and Employee Engagement: We will continue to build on our community initiatives and improve employee engagement practices to foster an inclusive and supportive workplace environment.
